Enrollment in BCBS IL Coverage gets you & covered dependents access to convenient & cost-effective virtual care through Teladoc. Effective 9/1/2024, covered members have access to Virtual Primary Care (VPC), through Teladoc. Virtual Primary Care provides you with an ongoing virtual Primary Care Physician (PCP) and a care team to which you will have access 24 / 7.
VPC includes medical care, primary care, general medical care, urgent care, dermatology care, and Behavioral Health services, as well as referrals for lab work, imaging, testing, and in-person care when needed. You will be able to receive annual examinations, preventive care, diagnosis and treatment for health concerns, manage chronic conditions, receive referrals to Participating Providers – specialists (e.g., oncology, cardiology, rheumatology, orthopedics, etc.), and Behavioral Health professionals when needed.
